School Council

Welcome to our School Council

The School Council consists of children, who have been elected from Class 2 to Class 6.  They would all like to make our school even better.  These are our current members:

Hello, my name is Eddie and I am the smallest member of the pupil council.  I like to do good things and help our school. I want to help people, who find it hard to be good, by playing with them!

Hi, my name is Grace and I am six years old. I love to play outside with my friends. We already have some lovely play equipment but I want to help the school to get even better things for us to play with outside. I will remind everyone to take good care of it.

Hello! I’m Noah and I want to help our school by making good decisions. We want to help our teachers as much as possible, listening to what they have to say and listening to others. I like to make people happy and laugh and I want to help others have lots of fun!

I am called Ava and I am seven years old. I like drawing pictures for my friends and my teachers. I want everyone to be happy and play nicely with each other. I can help them when they fall out with each other.

Hi, I’m Cohen. I am eight years old, a wonderful artist and I like chicken nuggets! I am a great listener – so I know that I can help others who might have problems and maybe get new things for the school. I want to share advice with others- I am very good at giving it.

Hi I’m Bobby. I love sports and especially football, which I play every day with my friends. I want to help our school by promoting sports, giving tips on how to be safe and how to play fairly. I am a good leader and don’t mind voicing my opinion.

Hola, my name is Maisun and I am ten years old. As a school councillor, I need to make sure that everyone’s opinions are heard within school. I am a confident girl and I can share my class’ ideas by speaking out clearly. I want to make the school a better place to be. We need to make fair decisions and I am able to create them.

Bonjour!  My name is Max and I am very excited to have been voted onto the school council. I am ten years old and I like turtles. I know I will represent my class well because I can communicate well and speak out.

I’m Jacey and I’ve always wanted to be on the school council because I want to help pupils to smile and be happy. In addition, I could help people in the way they behave. I could do this by creating school rules, which help people to be the best that they can be.

and this…. Is our school council charter!

Help ourselves and each other to always do our best;

  • Care for each other; look out for others who need our help.
  • Care for the belongings in our school; keep our school tidy, treat property with respect.
  • Care for God’s planet; keep our playground clean and tidy, put all rubbish in the bin.
  • WALK silently, so we do not disturb other classes.
  • Welcome guests when they enter our classroom.
  • Open the doors for adults and guests to our school.
  • Keep our hands and feet to ourselves.
  • Always remember to be polite and have good manners; say please and thank you.
  • Speak respectfully to all adults and children in school.
  • Pray respectfully to God in different ways.
  • To be fair to others during playtimes.

All of us have the right to be safe, to learn and to play. Let us remember our responsibility to ourselves and others to ensure we all enjoy these rights fully.
